A Fate Like Yours is a 6 piece Metalcore band based in Gauteng, South Africa. Formed in October 2009, they are currently unsigned but take their inspiration from the likes of As Blood Runs Black, Kill the Messenger, Facing the Gallows, Miss May I, As I Lay Dying, Bring Me The Horizon, August Burns Red, All Shall Perish and For Today.
They have had the opportunity to perform with UK Metal band Seven Year Kismet and have played alongside many top SA acts such as The Dead Will Tell, Facing The Gallows, Freedom For Your Life, Kill The Messenger, We Shall Embrace, Go! Go! Bronco, Bringing a Shark to a Gunfight, 11th Hour, Deity's Muse, Knave, A Perfect Travesty and others.
Their sound is complimented by a dual vocalist team, aggressive riffs and fun interactive performances that get the crowds up and partying.
