How to do it for the bands:

1. Select the name of the band. Band members may also have a separate profiles. Then they can vote for songs, videos, etc...

2. Select an email address, one that you use frequently and choose the country where the band is located.

3. After the profile confirmation, first you must upload a profile photo. Click on the settings in the top right side in your profile to make changes. Attention! The website will always open in the main page. Click on My GBOB in the main menu-bar at the top of the page to access your profile.

4. Add MP3 songs, videos (most simply by copying the web-address from YouTube, if you have an account there), a short biography and photos.
Warning! When you upload songs, a data table will appear after loading the song. Complete correctly the title in the first box, band name in the second and album (if any). Do not forget to upload a photo for each song (in the same table at the left side). Without these things done, you will not be added to be featured and promoted.

5. You may change the place of the players, text boxes and other tables in the page if you click and drag with your mouse through the head table (a sign appears) and move the table where you want into your own page. In the future you will be able to fully customize your profile in your own design, if you want...

6. Use the 'Events' to show the bands performances in the future.

7. Use the forum, chat, etc. to be active and grow in the top of the community.

8. Table feeds RSS is very useful if you for example you have an official website or an account on MySpace. Click Edit on the RSS table and enter a website that automatically updates your news in your public profile.

9. Integrate your profile with Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. and use those powerful tools to promote your band.

10. Ask to join the group GBOB (your country) 2010 after the band have a complete profile.

11. Ask your fans and friends to Rate your songs, videos and pics to push your band in the Top 20. Only this Top will be extra promote on the Main Page.

12. To Register for GBOB Live Music Competition, go to the main menu and click on your country. Send the full details of your band including contact address, telephone number and email. Write the names and the instruments of all the band members.
The National Organizer will watch your profile and send you the official confirmation of the registration.
From that moment you are enrolled in the contest.
