Inspired by artists such as James Brown, Kool & the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire, the B Bug is the funkiest phenomenon in Greece. Since 1990, they have performed in the country's most popular clubs and festivals averaging about 100 live shows a year.

During the 19 years of their presence they have performed with many celebrated Greek musicians such as George Kontrafouris, Takis Paterelis, Takis Barberis and others. They have also performed with Kia Koleman, Julie Massino, Guitar Shorty, Cookie McGee and Lousiana Red. Other credits include performing as a support group for Mick Taylor & the All-Star Blues Band and New York's funk master Milo Z. On April 2006 the band performed with the Greek pop star Despina Vandi in a televised tribute to Soul & Disco music. The same month they shared the stage with Arturo Sandoval after two exploding shows at Kaunas Jazz Festival.
