BIOGRAPHY OF THE LIVING SOUNDS

Just when the authentic sound of the Jamaican music seems to be fast becoming extinct in an era where originality, talent and good songs are subjected to playing second fiddle to mediocrity and commercialism on local scene, this team of musicians from Kingston, Spanish Town and Clarendon united by their lead vocalist Owen Rowe who is no stranger to the music world local and internationally are now (THE LIVING SOUNDS). Propelled by this burning desire to answer the call for resuscitation of the local music the way our pioneers laid its foundation, by relevance that gave their works this distinct identity and the ability to withstand the test of time standing shoulder to shoulder among internationally acclaimed acts that created master pieces that made them true legends by threading the pathway of internationally professional protocol.

• Keyboard (1) Damian Gayle the elder brother to Adrian Gayle who does duty on keyboard (2), Christopher Atkinson the heartbeat of the band on drums
• Owen Rowe (a.k.a) Alpha Rowen who is the voice of the band.

The members of this team has one thing in common they are from spiritual background (The Church) which is the strong binding agent that keeps them on one accord of common understanding and Commitment to a worthwhile cause with loyalty, their drive for success are bound a single common denominator which is love for what one does and this team has been preoccupied with music for a very long time every member are well over ten years which has given them the experience they needed in order to consolidated their confidence for success. Sounds with life, messages for eternity and care for rejuvenated commitment of presenting to this present generation of music listeners, promoters, producers, publishers radio disc jocks, managers and other gate-keepers and artistes the evidence for the case to free the music of the shackles that has bound its internationally dominant influence for the better part of two decades, that the best of the music leading from the forefront independent of any one special interest group or organization is the remedy for restoring the true value of our local music industry to its truly respectful place on the global scale.
